I recently partnered with C3inc. to complete several research and evaluation projects for the Calgary Homeless Foundation, including: research on aging and mortality in homelessness, evaluation of the COVID-19 impact on the homeless serving sector, and evaluations of rapid re-housing programming, permanent supportive housing staffing, and the Community Development Program delivered by CUPS. Other recent projects have focused on building capacity for evaluation and evidence-based decision making at organizations like The Alex and the Calgary Drop-in Centre.

I recently completed a national environmental scan of programs supporting the social determinants of health for LGBTQ2S+ community members. Earlier projects included work with HIV Community Link and the Calgary Coalition on Supervised Consumption to research and develop a program model for a mobile supervised consumption site, including: staffing and service delivery model, policies and procedures, community engagement, and regulatory approvals.

I worked with Shift: The Project to End Domestic Violence, in the Faculty of Social Work at the University of Calgary, to develop two successful funding proposals to the Public Health Agency of Canada, receiving over $1.9 million in grant funding to continue their primary prevention work.
